Bold is the Waldorf 800 Series wearing a coloured coat: the same 800mm-deep cooking platform, the same specifications and the same performance, with the fascia and non-functional panels finished in vitreous enamel — black as standard, or burgundy and chilli red. What sits under the finish does not change. Gas cooktops keep the 28MJ open burners with cast iron bodies, forged brass caps and non-clogging ports; electric cooktops run heavy-duty radiant elements or optional solid plates; ovens are fully welded and enamel-lined over cast iron sole plates, behind welded-frame doors with flame failure protection on the gas side. Target tops, chargrills, griddles, fryers, salamanders, pasta cookers and bench tops all take the colour, and tops and bases mix and match into an island suite, which suits an open kitchen where the cooking line is on show to the room rather than tucked behind a pass.
