A cooking suite is built in modules, and the gaps between them are where an infill bench earns its keep. These stainless steel bench tops drop into a Waldorf, Blue Seal Evolution or Cobra line-up at the same depth and height as the cooktops, fryers and griddles either side, giving a landing space for pans coming off the burners, somewhere to plate up, and a continuous run of steel with no awkward join for grease to sit in. Widths follow the same increments as the cooking modules, from 300mm through 450mm and 600mm to 900mm, so a bank can be planned to fit the exact run of wall or island available. Pick a leg stand for open access underneath, a cabinet base for enclosed storage, or a refrigerated base to keep prepped product within arm's reach of the pass. Work surfaces are compound-backed stainless rather than a single thin sheet, and adjustable feet let the top sit dead level with the units beside it.
